  • If an individual or joint local government self-insured health and welfare benefits program formed by a school district or educational service district does not comply with the data reporting requirements of RCW 28A.400.275 and 48.02.210, the self-insured health and welfare benefits program is no longer authorized to operate in the state. The state risk manager shall notify the state auditor and the attorney general of the violation and the attorney general, on behalf of the state risk manager, must take all necessary action to terminate the operation of the self-insured health and welfare benefits program.
