Section 26.26.505. Standing to maintain proceeding to adjudicate parentage.

- Subject to RCW 26.26.300 through 26.26.375, 26.26.530, and 26.26.540, a proceeding to adjudicate parentage may be maintained by:(1) The child;(2) The person who has established a parent-child relationship with the child;(3) A person whose parentage of the child is to be adjudicated;(4) The division of child support;(5) An authorized adoption agency or licensed child-placing agency;(6) A representative authorized by law to act for an individual who would otherwise be entitled to maintain a proceeding but who is deceased, incapacitated, or a minor; or(7) An intended parent under a surrogate parentage contract, as provided in RCW 26.26.210 through 26.26.260.NOTES:Costs—Application—2011 c 283: See notes following RCW 26.26.011.
